May 2, 2017- Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s daughter Renu Dahal has registered her nomination from the CPN (Maoist Centre) for the post of mayor to contest the local level polls in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
The CPN (Maoist Centre) candidate Surendra Gurung has filed his nomination for the post of deputy mayor in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
Similarly, CPN-UML has picked Devi Gyawali and Dibya Acharya as the candidates for mayor and deputy mayor respectively.
Likewise Dinesh Koirala and Parbati Shah have filed their nominations for the post of mayor and deputy mayor respectively from the Nepali Congress.
